SETTINGS allows studio management to customize TRF app. Six settings tabs intuitively organize the options.
STUDIO TAB
Studio Logo
(This is a PRO subscription feature.)
On the left of the screen is an easy interface for loading your logo into TRF to brand it as your own. Your brand is visible throughout the client experience. AirDrop or take a well-framed landscape-mode photo of your logo with your iPad. Then, to your taste, edit the image in your favorite iPad image editor.
USE U.S ADDRESS FORMAT option
Your legal waivers and your postal service require accurate studio addresses. TRF is ready to adapt to your US or non-US postal address formats for your region. Check or uncheck this option; TRF will offer alternative formatting options for entering your non-US studio address.
MOST CLIENTS ARE US CITIZENS option
This question relates to the address format of most of your clients. If you are a studio in Barcelona, you’ll want your Spanish neighbors (most of your clients) to enter addresses in the address format of their region, not the default US format.
Each client can check or uncheck this option, overriding this setting, so that most of your clients are covered.Artist List
Correctly spell all artist's legal names. Nicknames are not advised, as this app will generate a legal document you may later need.
Studio Credentials
Studio name, both popular and legal, address and contact information, including proper website URL, official contact email, and phone number. The studio's legal name will auto-populate the LEGAL section of TRF. This must be entered correctly with designations (such as LLC) to generate legally strong release forms. The PDF release forms generated by TRF will add TATTOO STUDIO after the legal name you enter.
Health Codes
All local and state health codes govern your studio. You might find these on your current release form. For updated codes, contact your attorney or local health department. (e.g. COMPLIES WITH 555-51C-5>55 CALIFORNIA CODE)
Security Passcodes
Two passcodes control this app: one for management and one for artists. Note that TRF app developers will NOT know this password. If the passcode is lost, TRF app must be uninstalled and downloaded again, so keep it well.
Change the Master Passcode
The default Master Passcode is 1234, which can be changed at will. This code allows access to all features. However, it is only for management and limits artists' access to TRF features. The Master Passcode is also a ‘skeleton key’ code, so management does not have to recall the Artist Passcode.
Change the Artist Passcode
Management chooses one passcode shared by all artists. This allows artists to access limited sections of the app. The Artist Passcode does not allow access to vital admin features such as SUBSCRIPTIONS or TRF SETTINGS.
The Artist Passcode provides access to:
- The Artist Notes Pane- previewing, notating, and signing waivers.
- Searching for returning clients in the Returning Client Flow
- The TRF Knowledge Base and Support interface
- The TRF Privacy Policy
Devices
This section will show the UDID (Unique Device IDentifier), or fingerprint, of the device in use. It will also show the UDIDs of other iPads sharing the subscription, if applicable. Next to the UDID for the in-hand device is a button for quickly copying that long number to paste into support requests.
Also note:
- Remember, the Master Passcode is the only way to access Settings, not the Artist Passcode. This is designed to prevent accidental or malicious tinkering by wayward staff.
- Once you set up your TRF app just as you want it, with all of your artists, legal clauses, logo (logo management is a PRO subscription feature), and tedious legal bits, TRF will automatically back it up for you using the login credentials you provided when you set it up. If you need to add another iPad or swap your old one for a new one, log in at startup, and your previous settings will await you, safe and sound.
