Bundles: Pay-As-You-Go, for one iPad
A Bundle is like a stack of paper, 100 digital waivers to a bundle. These can be purchased when needed and used at will over any period of time. They are usable only on the iPad from which they are purchased. Switching from Bundles to a subscription will cancel the remaining forms in the bundle, so we advise using them before changing to subscriptions. If the iPad is converted from a subscription back to bundles, a new bundle must be purchased. If you bought a bundle and your iPad expires or locks up, or you need a new one, contact us, and we will help transfer your remaining forms to a new iPad.
Did you buy Bundles in an older version of TRF and want to transfer them to the new TRF? No problem. Scroll down to learn more.
Subscriptions: Monthly renewal
BASIC Subscription, for two iPads
This monthly subscription shares 100 forms between two iPads to be used in one month, unlocks many powerful features, and is ideal for a medium-sized studio that needs two iPads for busy times. The two iPads share one account used to initially log into TRF: an Apple or Google account. This means the two iPads share the same studio settings, such as studio address, artists, legal clauses, etc. The Returning Client feature allows a returning client to find themselves on either iPad at that studio.
If you have more than one studio, we suggest one Basic Subscription for each studio, allowing different settings for each studio. This can be achieved by connecting TRF to a different Apple ID (Apple allows multiple Apple IDs to share one credit card or bank account) or a different Google account. While both studios can connect and upload waivers to the same cloud, the Returning Client feature will only allow clients to be found at the studio where they were initially tattooed, on any of the iPads at that studio. This may sound confusing if you have yet to use TRF, but once you do, this lingo will all make sense and is not so complex.
PRO Subscription, for up to five iPads
This monthly subscription shares unlimited forms between up to five iPads, unlocking all TRF features. These iPads share one account used to initially log into TRF: an Apple or Google account. This means all iPads share the same studio settings, such as studio address, artists, legal clauses, etc.
If you have more than one studio, we suggest one subscription for each studio, allowing different settings for each studio. You might find you need Basic for one studio and Pro for another. This can be achieved by connecting TRF to a different Apple ID (Apple allows multiple Apple IDs to share one credit card or bank account) or a different Google account. While multiple studios can connect and upload waivers to the same cloud, the Returning Client feature will only allow clients to be found at the studio where they were initially tattooed, on any of the iPads at that studio. This may sound confusing if you have yet to use TRF, but once you do, this lingo will all make sense and is not so complex.
Accessing the PURCHASES page
You can access PURCHASES by tapping the Menu Icon, represented by three stacked lines at the top right corner of the screen. Once there, you'll need the Master Passcode, which is the only way to access PURCHASES---not the Artist Passcode. This is designed to prevent accidental or malicious tinkering by wayward staff. Initially, both the Master and Artist passcodes are set to 1, 2, 3, 4. You can learn about changing the passcodes here.

FAQs: TRF Purchases
-
Q: What can I do on the PURCHASES page?
A: The PURCHASES pane allows studio management to choose from bundles of waivers to use at will, two monthly TRF subscription levels, and view Apple’s Terms and Conditions.
-
Q: Can I change my TRF subscription level?
A: Yes, studios can upgrade or downgrade their subscription at any time. If you paid for Bundles and choose to switch to subscriptions, the forms you owned in Bundles will be lost. Switching back from subscription to bundles will not recover them. We advise using all the forms in your bundle and then changing to subscriptions.
-
Q: Who can access the Purchases interface?
A: Only studio management with the Master Passcode can access the Purchases interface. Artist passcodes will not work.
-
Q: Will the waivers I purchased in the last version of TRF carry over to the new version?
A: YES.The forms you purchased in the previous version of TRF will be transferred to the new TRFv3.0+. Send us proof of purchase, and we will credit your account. The REMAINING FORMS counter, shown on the PURCHASES screen of TRF, will balance within 24 hours.

Q: Can my clients who used TRF before the update to v3.0 find their old waivers?
A: No. That's a security door we welded shut. Waivers made by previous versions of TRF (pre-v3.0) cannot be accessed by TRF v3.0+. This is a standard security practice among cloud services, reducing the chance of data breaches by malware between versions. Your pre-TRF v3.0 waivers are safe in your cloud and can be found there forever. Your clients should have no problem submitting a fresh 'first time' waiver, just this once, as they will be using the Returning Client feature evermore.
